Terom® company was created in 1960 by a team
of engineers with a long experience in the sugar installation field. Thanks to
its own engineering and technology, this company has designed and made many installations
for sugar works and mechanical installations in general.
In particular, Terom® makes almost all machinery and equipment that are present
at a sugar factory, and holds patents such as "MET" vacuum crystallizer.
Moreover, Terom® has made various other types
of installations and machines for the mechanical
industry and food industry, such as for example diffusers to extract liquorice
juice, filtering installations in general, mechanical tipplers for food products
(beets, apples), granule transport systems, conveyor belts, elevators, screw feeders,
evaporators, heaters, positive-displacement pumps for massecuite, CO2 compressors
and crystallizers.
This company stretches over an area of around 25,000 sq. m. among which 7,000
sq. m. are covered. Terom® has buildings with overhead traveling cranes and heavy
equipment that are suitable for any important carpentry work and mechanical machining.
Considering its forty-year-long experience in mechanical, carpentry and plant
engineering fields, the Technical Office can also deal with and study problems
that lie outside mass-produced regular mechanics, especially for very heavy and
large-sized structures and applications. This company has its own cranes and skilled
personnel, and so it can assemble its own realizations.
